Due to Off The Charts I have an obsessed psychotic gay stalker with a prison record, who uses fake idenities to libel. smear, and harrass me! He doesn't have the balls to use his own name

Gary Forney has had an internet stalker since March of 2004 and continueing! Evidence is being gathered by this website's security percautions, including I.P. tracking. Emails are also recorded for legal authorities. Gary's stalker has been warned by the police previously. There will be no more warnings!

Interstate Stalking Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 2261A [1996]), which makes it a criminal offense to travel across state lines to stalk another person. The act also makes it a crime to stalk a person across state lines using mail, E-MAIL, or the INTERNET.

Just another message from Stalker Terry Copeland using yet another fake profile!

And yet another Terry Copeland Fake I.D.

This My Space profile traces right back to Copeland. It was designed to create trouble with another band.

THE TOP REASONS I HATE "OFF THE CHARTS THE SONG POEM STORY"!

1 ]  I have a Mensa I.Q. , but due to Off The Charts many people think I am mentally disabled.

In 2004, the M.C. for Song Poem Night at The Hideout in Chicago, Scott Ligon, thought it was funny to talk to me like I was retarded. When I called him an asshole for it in 2005, I was banned from The Hideout.

3 ] The ONLY people to make money off the songs on the Off The Charts soundtrack are the producers, NONE of the song poets recieve a dime, even from sales.

4 ] I was a serious songwriter with songs on minor labels before Off The Charts. I was also a published poet. Now, due to Off The Charts I am badly stereotyped, and my music is labeled before being heard.

5 ]  Off The Charts presents an image of my family still living in the run down farm house you see in the film. The footage of that farm house was shot in 1999. We hadn't lived there since 1986! Thirteen years earlier! The film failed to mention that little fact!

6 ] Some of the scenes were scripted and totally fake.  Turn up the volume as loud as you want on the "Gary phones home" scene and you will NOT hear my wife. She wasn't on the phone. The scene was made up. It was spliced together from over five takes of my pretending to talk on the phone, saying what the producers told me to.

7 ] The "Gary phones Denmark from phone booth" scene was also fake! For the movie we made five seperate phone calls from three different locations! EVERY person I called knew immediately who I was, with the one exception shown in the film! That conversation was then edited to LEAVE OUT the middle of the call where the D.J. did finally remember me! We were NOT talking about my song poems either, but some other songs entirely!

8 ] The opening sequence where I am sitting on a junk car was staged. I didn't own the car I sat on at all. It was a random antigue junker. The scene was staged to resemble a photo of me, taken four years before, posed by a different junker. Compare the car in the opening sequence of the film, with the one I am sitting on in the famous New York Times photo! NOT the same car. YEARS apart! The actual real car I had at the time of the movie was a Lincoln, seen briefly in the "Jimmy Carter Says YES" car radio sequence.

9 ] Of over 150 songs I have written, Off The Charts, focused on the strangest they could find. The film also failed to mention that "The Chicken Insurrection" is Gilbert Shelton's "The Day I Set My Chickens Free" , from Zap Comics , almost word for word. Also, "Three Eyed Boy" borrows most of its lyrics from The Doors song "Build Me A Woman". Web search the two songs mentioned and compare the lyrics with my songs. The producers knew my songs were satire, but preferred to say nothing and let people assume I was, once again, "retarded"!

10 ] The film was spliced together over three years. The publicity photo of me used by the film was from 1996! The movie footage was from 1998 - 2000! Off The Charts was edited to present a slanted story useing only a minimum of the actual footage shot of me. The "Spook House Mirror" picture you get of me in the film bares no resemblance to the actual real me!

LESLIE HALL of vh1 harassment

11 ] Leslie [ Black Face ] Hall & The Mock-The-Handicapped Lys! This clown act thought I was disabled due to "Off The Charts"! There is still a photo floating around the internet, for over five years, of Leslie Hall mocking me behind my back. I have asked that it be removed numerous times, but she still finds it funny to "mock the retard", as her brother, Hiland, calls me! Be sure to also visit BLOGS AND OPINIONS on this site to read more about this poser!

12 ] Thanks to Off The Charts and my mentally ill stalker's many postings using [ male and female ] false indentities, people have been lead to believe I collect mental disability! This is false and LIBEL.  I am NOT receiveing any sort of Social Security or disability what-so-ever!

FIctional?

In June of 2009 Film-maker Jamie Meltzer was approached about doing a documentary that would finally portray Gary Forney as an intelligent talented human-being!

Jamie Meltzer replied that he didn't do "FICTIONAL FILMS!"!

An open E-mail from a song poet: Do you know who Irwin Chusid is? Songs in the Key of Z? Well, that Irwin guy seems to be kind of an a-hole actually. Pretty much, it seems that he and his WMFU crew think they're some sort of "masters of what IS and what is NOT" an actual, collectible or "worthy" songpoem or, for that matter, art in general. I found that out via this kid that made a songpoem album which he sent to me with NO name on it, so I don't actually know who he is...just that he sent some songs to me on a CD a long while back...I hadn't heard from him since then...I really SHOULD look that guy up to see if he ever got the CD I sent him in exchange...Odd that I never did that...haha! Typing my thoughts here...Anyway, that guy sent Irwin his CD and asked his opinion of it and was told something along the lines of "he doesn't waste time listening to any so-called newer songpoems because they're even more 'worthless' than the old ones." Now, I put that in quotes and all for emphasis, but his feedback basically stated that sort of a line of thought. I guess that's why I got no meaningful feedback from Irwin regarding the albums I sent him. I get pretty irritated with people like those that run WMFU. They play this, "oh we're SO unique and tolerant of the 'outsider' musicians" bit, YET they don't give a shit about ACTUAL "outsider" artists they don't command and control for profit. See those "Songs in the Key of Z" books and albums for proof on that! I CANNOT stand the art-snobbery crowd, those that sit back and exclude others from their "elitist-minded" shows. They will whine, bitch, gripe and moan about "mainstream" art and artists while they do the same exclusionary shit by playing "arbitrators" of what IS and IS NOT considered "worthy" to BE outsider art, which OF COURSE is bullshit! True art (outsider or otherwise) is what it is WITHOUT arbitration by control freaks! Whether it "speaks" to the masses or the few, it is STILL art. I guess I still hold a grudge against Irwin and the crew due to the numerous times I made contact with them over my albums to get back either no response or a quick semi-a-holish response, the quicky-quick near-rude response to that proposal of an interview with you for a future show on WMFU, and just the general snob-vibe of their website. I believe they mock peoples' art far too much...which is stupid as hell considering that the art they mock is their "bread and butter." I mean, songs like "Burmese Land" and "Green Fingernails" are by no means perfect classics (or even listenable to some people), but they ARE peoples' contributions to the realm of music and art...which gave WMFU something to play that earned them sponsorship money...Well, last time I listened to a podcast of one of their shows, they mocked the tracks like crazy...Damn snobby shit...I think things went totally off track once the ASPMA site stopped the .mp3s...around the time of "Off The Charts'" success. If this songpoem thing were managed by people that TRULY appreciated art, the genre would FLOURISH and be financially viable beyond belief!!!! I mean, the mainstream music scene is literally DYING and the songpoem game could EASILY be a solution point that brings in new and better musical artists. However, the songpoem game is managed by hateful, art-snob a-holes (in general anyway) that'd rather mock what could be successful than promote the art contained in these recordings...which inevitably is as STUPID AS CAN BE...This a-hole behavior only serves to make these morons feel better about themselves and their "artiness" at the literal financial cost of them avoiding wealth through more positive promotional efforts...Ok, rant over...Just my thoughts. I've spent MANY years dealing with stuff like this. I have a TRUE love of various creative outlets (call it all art I guess) BUT I have never been "accepted" in the realm of the poser "art" world because I don't march in weirdo lock-step with those in the "structured" art community. I guess that's me all around. I enjoy being around a WIDE variety of people and they like me too...However, these same people belong to various cliques...Now, I like SOME components of these cliques, but I will not sell out and fully immerse myself in any one of these cliques...and that usually leads to social friction where I am inevitably socially discarded or my line of thought is discarded. In short, I am friends with nearly every type of person (or have been over time) but I will not fully immerse myself with EVERY element of their behaviors. It's a simple matter of me being me and doing what I do. So, Irwin and crew can do what they do to taint the phrase "outsider" art. I know the truth...and that I am an "outsider" (in art as well as in life...Meaning no cliques for me, but I dig a lot of types of people) by choice of staying true to myself, rather than via snobbery...////// //////// -Your friend and a fan!~
